So I come back from Canada on the 28th, but I have my train ticket booked for 6:15am on the 29th as I arrive after the last train goes back to Hull. I figure I can't stay at Heathrow for too long as the security probably don't want non-flyers sleeping in their airport, and so it's either that or find a hostel/hotel - both of which I'd rather not spend money on, if possible.

So anyone stayed overnight at King's Cross? Is it even possible? Will I get turfed out (I do have a ticket for the morning though)?

I've not done, however what I have done is fallen asleep at both Birmingham New Street and Taunton by accident and missed the last trains! Taunton where very unhelpful turfed me out and I had to get a £70 taxi home. New Street where awesome and got me some numbers for local (cheap) hotels. Personally I wouldn't risk it, try and get a cheapo hotel for the night, to be honest you really dont want to be sleeping at Train Station anyhow.

Theres probably a nearby easyhotel too, you can get a box in kensington for £30 per night.

You'll have to sleep on the street too, you won't be allowed to sleep on the station premesis.

You can't loiter/sleep in stations now. Police will be called. Terrorism act will be cited. You may be arrested. You stand more chance crashing at the airport as they expect these sort of things. You can always say you're waiting for someone and got the flight wrong.

Find a cheap hotel/hostel.
