Staying up really late for no real reason

Internet addiction is worse than Porn, Smoking or Herion addiction.

Just accept it, get a beer and enjoy.

Damn, only need the heroin and I've a complete list :(

I always do this - I've been up until 4am for no reason for the last few weeks, no matter what time I get upin the morning/afternoon. At the moment I'm listening to Combichrist songs but normally I just read everything on the forums even if I'm not even slightly interested. Might go to bed and read a book or something now.

Working nights tonight,so enforced insomnia.

TBH I've always been a bit of night owl, like others on here I find it hard to switch off! there's too much to do to waste time sleeping! Quite often hit the sack at 3 or 4am but still rise around 8am. I keep pretty fit by exercising reguarly and eating well,so I reckon that could be why I don't seem to need much sleep, usually feel quite refreshed after just 3 or 4 hrs.

I probably look shagged out most of the time though!:D

My body clock is messed up! When I was younger I used to stay up as it was quite nice to have some time to myself to relax. Like I can't spend time online during the day as my family around/other things to do so the evening was always a good time. Nowadays I stay up for the same reasons & its worse than ever as my partner does the same so we stay up even later to spend time together when not at work... I need to force myself out of bed early as I start work on monday.

Thought id play civ4 instead of pack.... Then the greeks invaded me the turn i developed rifle's so i recovered my losses in the war and stopped till friday (or if i get REALLY bored in the airport)

Have to be up early for packing though so it all seems counter productive... (but im excited so sleep is harder anyway)

I tend to stay up late usually but not this late. Tried to sleep at 12 but couldn't and I end up worrying I won't get up for work at 7 so just stay up! No logic in it as tomorow I'll be tired and be asleep early tomoroy night and no doubt still tired when I meet my other half on Friday morning :o

Guilty as charged.

Drinking for no reason and staying up late with essays to do..... God I love being a student!

I'm catching up with Medium and have one season to go - man!

My mother watches that, it possibly angers me more than any other program on TV. You're going to get such a ranting at for this.

They portray her as such a helpful little hero who the police rely on to solve the case and put the crim in jail, but this is nothing like the reality of the "mediums". Every time there is a missing child in the US, these self centred little halfwitted attention whores pour out of the woodwork, claiming to be able to help. But not once have any of them solved a case, found a child, or contributed anything of value to any investigation, they just amass a following of mugs who believe they can help, who would all be of better use searching conventionally, the "mediums" actually need to be locked up.

Now if there was one or 2 out there who have genuine psychic powers, could they be hidden by the waves of pretenders? Answer: No, go and read up on the James Randi prize. But they don't want the money? So donate it to charity, it's $1m for ****'s sake. Randi has actually invited several "mediums" to take the test, some have ignored the issue, some have accepted and then never gone through with anything.

Dramas like this are just going to encourage them, glorify what they do (which should be, and might already be illegal), and encourage copycats.

Now go and watch S01E10 of Penn & Teller's Bull****, then maybe I'll consider letting you off with a stern warning for watching such ****.

Edit:
Possibly the up and coming documentary on the Hudson river plane crash angers me more. The trailer just leaves me fuming, mostly for 2 lines:
"Miracle on the Hudson" - It was not a sodding miracle you morons, it was an amazing piece of piloting, any lives saved were as a direct result of the skill of the flight crew. This was the best landing of an airliner on water EVER, period.
"The chances of surviving were a bazillion to one." - No they were no you moron, statistically speaking your chances of surviving a water landing in an airliner aren't that bad, probably between a third and a half, maybe more.

I've just finished watching a film, and now I'm hungry so making pasta. I'll goto sleep soon, but first I think I'm going to watch this.

Even if i've only had 4 hours sleep the previous night, as soon as it comes to night I can stay up until mad o'clock :o
