> Leaves forum to load Project IGI... :D

Wow!

43 posts and only 1 mention of the Thief series?:eek:

Thief is the KING of stealth games, absolute KING!

Now Eidos has shown they can do justice to a great franchise (Deus Ex), i have great hopes for Thief 4.

Yes Velvet Assassin is a terrible game. Not good at all.

It hardly needs more than one mention :D

Probably due to people reading the op, and seeing he didn't want Thief :p

Tis great though :)

I think that playing Deus Ex Human Revoultion has killed my interest in any future MGS games tbh. I did love them but i find it hard to imagine anything from them to come pulling it off as well as DEHR tbh.
Though i do think that Snake Eater is one of the best games ever and one of my all time favourites (very underrated as well imo)

Personally i have to say that i found the stealth aspects of Oblivion very enjoyable too (dark brotherhood, thieves guild, snea
king around dungeons).

Never got into mgs games...too immature and not dark enough. T2: The Metal Age is the ultimate stealth game, well the most hardcore anyway. Shame the popular franchises (thief, splinter cell) took a nose dive to appeal to a wider audience.

i dont think you've got the right game there mate........

Its kinda hard to take Sneak seriously in TES/Fallout. I don't think light intensity (short of time of day and indoor/outdoor) has any effect so hiding in shadows isn't possible. With max Sneak its possible to hit things with melee weapons and for them to be completely unaware of your existence. The jist of it was always that until you got to 70+ Sneak didn't have a great deal of effect and after that it became silly.

What about Commandos games?

They're ww2 rts, but you have to be sneaky as you only have a small squad of soldiers and some of them have to survive as their specialist skills are needed to finish the mission.

Very hard games, there was a fps game too not sure if that's any good.
