Hi all,

CSS de_dust2 seems to differ to everyone elses on every server, something has edited the file, how can i resolve this?

Delete it and let Steam download it again?

delete the map de_dust2 from the maps folder and it should re download when you try to join a server again

Where can i locate it? ive been looking, maybe im too tired and ive missed it.

Next time you play on a server and that map comes up it will auto download

Nope, the original css maps are not in any 1 location. Not in the maps folder, they are integrated into some program files. Where exactly, i dunno. Just delete and reinstall the game via steam. Or if you have the CD, do it that way.

deleted my GCF files. and reinstalling them.

I've had this, a custom file had been downloaded which conflicted, I got rid of it and all was well.
