Steam and Facebook!

Finally, we can now link our Facebook and Steam accounts. It's what I've been waiting for all these years!

Click here to link your profiles and get started.

Linking your accounts will also raise your maximum friend count in Steam to 300.

I'll probably do it for the friend increase to be honest

is a high freind count in steam beneficial?

I don't see the point currently, what else does it actually do?

Meh, I have 8 friends, an increase to a maximum of 300 isn't particularly useful.

Must be one of steam ideas to try get more girls to buy games off steam...

As most of the people that use facebook are girls..

Just join the steam ocuk community page, you'll have loads of friends you can chat to

You have no pending invites.

Steam has not found any new friends to suggest.

Ask your friends to link their Steam and Facebook profiles to make finding each other easier.

Depends whether the majority of people playing facebook games are girls or not, not whether the majority who use facebook are girls.

Tbh I don't want people on Facebook bugging me on Steam, and I don't want my Steam friends stalking me on face book.

Is this a one off "find friends" jobby? Or a complete social link thingy?

I won't be linking my accounts. I'll have to double-check the facebook privacy settings too I guess - make sure that they've not managed to sneak in another privacy-busting 'feature'...
