Steam and Facebook!

I'm doing it just for the friend increase. It is useful because the clan I am in requires to add everyone in the clan and it's growing quite quickly now so it is useful for something...

I know my fb friends have steam, but obviously none of them are linked up as I have no friends to invite. What a pointless activity. Maybe now all my work mates will see all the steam achievements I work so hard for :/ they'll respect me more for it I think.

Its an extra option available if people want to use it. Just adding to the already great service that steam provides. I will probably use this just as i use the ps3 link up, if you dont like it dont use it.

Yeh, you can even choose not to sign up to 'the spy machine' altogether. But it doesn't make good hyperbole on forums, so keep it a secret!

This is what I basicly said earlier then, If you dont like it dont use it. Jeez if anything pc gaming needs to embrace these changes and perhaps attract more gamers keeping our hobby alive. If you like the idea, awesome if you dont then no worries as you dont have to use it

PC gamers in not having social life shocker!

Seriously though I think It's a good thing, I was able to add 2 people that I had no idea they were really into pc gaming, I don't see why it's worth moaning about, don't use it if you don't want to...

i don't have any friends on facebook with their accounts linked to facebook, only the one friend who i got into pc gaming, most other people think that pc's can only play games like runescape unless you have an alienware -_- :S

I have 45 friends (close family and friends) on my face book and I can guarantee that i'm the only one that's got steam!!!

If it tells everyone on my Facebook how many achievements I've unlocked and how much more sad I am than they first assumed, then I'm not particularly interested :p
