Steam Autumn Sale Hype!

I got pretty much everything I want right now, but with 196 games in my Wishlist, maybe something might stand out. Wouldn't mind picking up the Witcher 3, it was on sale foe for like £13 few weeks ago.

but with 196 games in my Wishlist,

Hard to get hyped for the steam sales. They just seem to reduce prices to the same or near to as the key sites, so it's not like you're saving anything.

This was to be my first Steam sale where I had a new gaming PC and I could have bought anything I liked knowing it would run. But last week my life got turned upside down and gaming is very much on the back burner now for as long as I can see. :( So all my hype has gone.

could do with a few more deals on left4dead and csgo :p

haha cant remember last time i seen a competitive priced game on steam.cdkey sites have made steam mostly pointless.only reason is the platform.would like to see deal on pubg though for steam.

The last sale proved cheaper than the sale at GOG (GOG maybe expensive? I don't really use them).

At least for the checks and purchases I made. CDKeys website seems to be the best for me lately - some real bargains.

You just need to shop wisely.

Also I use a Chrome plug-in called Key Master. When on a Steam store page it pops up with the price of the keys on key sites. Handy!

steam does some cheaper than gog does & vice versa.
I used to use gog, but avoid like the plague now.
Some games don't get patches, meaning a full DL of entire game again. Once Titan Quest got a patch on steam for 8kb size, not gog. Full ?gbs of DL all over again
Some games are months, few are years out of date in patches. Silly gog Bears...
