Steam b0rked from new update

As thread title, I booted up my pc this morning and an error occured, and then soon after the following message came up:

Now everything is messed, I can't launch steam at all

Any ideas anyone?

Believe it or not the problem was that my games parition only had 20kb! I deleted a gig and now it's working smoothly
