you really don't see the big picture do you.
I see it clearly, perhaps you'd like to share yours though?

I've always wondered what would happen if anyone really invented a 'star trek' replicator. People would go ballistic claiming it was stealing everything it produced yet it would be a massive benefit to society. It could even feed the 3rd world but I suppose food producers would say it was stealing.
Wish this forum had a facepalm emoticon D:na go back to wherever i'm not giving you a free lesson.

edit: i do feel sorry for the younger generation because they don't know any beter. being force fed with ***** all the time makes you think it's ok to put up with it.
It's not a moral issue, people who call it immoral are just stupid. Are you planning to present anything to back up your view, or are we just meant to take your word for it? I would love to know how you consider an act that takes something away from someone is the same as an act that dosen't.
I find it interesting that every time I enter a debate on this subject people always throw the "Its scummy and immoral" argument at me. I didn't say it wasn't (I'm not saying it is either mind you). That isn't my point and I never said it was.
My point is that you are saying people deserve to be punished for this "crime" by having their steam accounts banned. This is presumably in addition to the legal repercussions that could/should be brought by the law (Or are you saying this should be the punishment metered out by the courts? Frankly its much better than what we are currently seeing), so if we take the legal side out of the equasion, my example stands. You don't like pirates (you think they are scummyO and think thier accounts should be banned. So why can't my objection to your post get your steam account banned? Say I think your post is scummy?
p.s. - I don't think its scummy by the way, I'm just trying to make a point
I think you'd be wrong.
Great point.I've never really thought about this much before but your right. Its pretty obvious that copying something is not the same as stealing it.

I agree. This is one of the main reasons most people pirate, because 9 out of 10 games right now are utter trash that isn't worth £30-50.
I have been known to try before I buy. I see nothing wrong with it as long as you delete it if you don't like it and buy it if you do.

If it`s trash why do you pirate it?
so have when i pirated games. can you honestly say you bought every game you liked or did you just jump on the next download with the intention of buying the game and play some more?
