I would recommend you try the demo, it can be quite complicated so you really need to have a go to see if the amount of options is something you want to explore more or run away from.
 
At those prices I'll probably get Assassin's Creed 2 and a Lara Croft game.

They'll have to wait a day or two until I've got my SSD and Windows re-installed before I can play them though :(
 
for dungeon defenders does Dungeon Defenders Lost Eternia Shards Complete DLC include the original game or do you have to buy both?

Both Machinarium (excellent game) and Serious Sam HD: Gold Edition are great value if you've not played them. I really enjoyed Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light although it is very different from the usual Tomb Raider games so checkout the demo before buying if unsure.

Looking at the list there isn't anything striking me as a good deal that I haven't got already. Homefront and Dead Space 2 might have tempted me had the base price been lower, even at 75% off they aren't sucking me in, also the Two World series should be 75-80% off not 66%.

Serious Sam HD Gold is a bargain at £2.19.

Also regarding Assassin's Creed, anyone thinking of buying the pack it actually works out cheaper to buy them all individually. Brotherhood is overpriced anyway.
 
More crap today. Don't want to sound harsh but Steam have spoilt us in the past with better cheaper games. These are good to new people to Steam or those who don't have these games but so far imo it's been crap, i've not bought 1 thing yet.
 
I can't login to Steam at the moment, password seems to be causing issues and I've done a rest but still won't let me in suggesting something is wrong. Any ideas?
