Hi,

After getting a new router I cannot connect to steam, I get this error; "Could not connect to steam network" when I try to login.

I have tried;

Opening the required ports
Turning all firewalls etc off
Disabling DMZ (Steam doesn't support it)

I don't know what else to try, any help appreciated! :)

try to logout and login back again.

1-logout,
2-exit steam.exe
3-run steam
4-login.

there is another way is by deleting two files which handles the network protocols. search it under steam support page.

I can't logout because I can't login in the first place. :x

Also I tried deleting clientregistry.blob, doesnt help. :(

I had a similar problem with a D-Link router. I udated the router's firmware and it sorted out the connection issue. Have you tried reseting the router?

This is a D-Link router too, I'm pretty sure it has latest firmware, will make sure later. I have tried resetting it yeah. Thanks so far.
