Steam coolness account -How much?

realistically i'd pay £500 for all ever access, but I would pause over the buy button

You can't really put a price on "forever" access - it would probably work more like a subscription if Steam were ever to do this.

Personally, I wouldn't as I hate Steam. But if pushed, i'd say £15-£20 a month for full access. Any more than that and I don't think it would sell.

£250 for yearly access with DRMs on the games to stop them being updateable after lets say... 18 months? £500 for infinite access, or £20 a month.

I don't think that most people would use it enough to qualify spenidng much more.

and!

it would have to complete with things like lovefilm who offer game rental, up to 4 titles at a go, which is more than you would ever use!

I wouldn't really like a monthly subscription, I like paying one price and never having to pay again. Cheaper in the long run! For an unlimited account? I'd be willing to pay around £200, not really any more than that.

Well after they fix the bugs in Empire to make me actually want to log on to Steam without getting depressed, i would probably pay about 250£ for lifetime access, providing that they had EA and the other major studios onboard for that deal.

Damn i have a 6 digit steam account, and that's 6 years old :/
