** Steam Deal: GTA Vice City only £1.50 **

To be fair that Rockstar pack doesn't look too bad considering it includes Tales From Liberty City, which has only just come out on PC and costs £15 on it's own. Then again I, like most people, have already completed most of the better games like MP, MP2, GTA:VC, GTA:SA, GTA4 etc. So it's a great deal for newcomers to gaming but probably one of those nice ways for them to make money off people who already own a few of the games. I mean basically I'll be paying £15 for Bully and Manhunt.

It seems to run like a bag of poo on my 5870.

Turn off frame limiter, it's limited to 25 or 30 fps on stock.

Turn it on for boat missions though, the framerate oddly affects the speed of boats and mavity, it also does that in SA with (underwater) swimming, some kind of engine limitation, but otherwise, turn it off and you'll easily have 400+ fps or 150+ at all times if you force AA...
Are you thinking of GTA: San Andreas?

EDIT:

Obviously not.

Aye, I played VCMP a lot with a mate and occasionally with randomers, it was great fun even though a tad laggy ( it wasn't as refined as samp back then), but it only works on v1.0...

If anyone's having trouble with a black screen on loading the game up into the first cutscene, the solution is to either enable the in-game frame limiter (30 FPS) or force vsync on via your graphics card control panel (gives you 60FPS). At the higher framerate some things seem to run a bit fast though.

I still can't get it to work. I've tried compatibility mode, run as admin etc and it still gives me this message after launching the game. ¬¬
