Steam Down?

Hi,

Is anyone having problems logging onto steam? I get a connection error every time I try and connect.

Hey I'm only starting to preload ep2 and portal today aswell

Just which my brother would stop bitching that I'm hogging bandwidth and slowing down his WoW game!

EP2 is more important than his precious ping!

Running like a dog for me, I have been downloading TF2 for the last 4 hours after rebuilding my machine and forgetting to back up all my steam files.

Was just getting 600 bytes, seems a lot slower then usuall

just close steam down then reopen it and it will connect and all will be ok again

Been fine for me, ive logged out a couple of times and had no problems getting back on to, just logged off there as i was getting about 20k pre-loading portal, but getting about 100k now, so that'll do me, i started Epsiode1 about half 5 last night and it finished earlier on, so ive got that waiting ready to go.

Must have buggered whie i was away, wasn't pre-loading Portal anymore, and task manager said it wasn't responding.

Hmm, very slow updating TF2 at the moment. Download is at 98%, but the remaining 2% is showing approx 15 mins remaining =/
