Yeah, Steam is updating CS:S. Servers must be getting generally hammered.

Same for me, did a steam client update then forced restart and thats been it for me...

I haven't tried again but I'll give it a go in a minute..

Down for me as well, thank God! I meant that as in, I thought it was an issue on my end but it's not so I'm relieved

I was almost finished downloading Dirt 3 as well

edit: I can log into Steam after repeated tries, but it's impossible to download anything off it.

Still won't launch after the update. Tried a Steam restart, can't log in now. Oh well, it'll sort itself out soon enough as per usual I'm sure.

Mine was down, but I'm now in and loading games fine.

I can only imagine the absolute havoc that would be caused if steam were ever to experience a long outage such as what Blackberry is currently having.
