Steam download issue?

the top one has just started downloading but before it was just saying the same as CS:GO, and not starting. been like this most of the week, is there a fix?

My downloads have been all over the place this evening, couldn't get Cities: Skylines to update. Managed to get it working again by doing this:

Start>Run>steam://flushconfig

Same here trying to download blops 3 this evening,it keeps stopping and i have to manually click resume,speeds are fine though.

That's what's still happening to me. Fixed the invalid depot config error above. Maybe has something to do with BO3 coming out? Servers are probably getting hammered.

EDIT: Yup they are. Look at the peak and current bandwidth for Europe.

not just me then! they are preloading fallout 4 at 9pm too :/

thanks fo the tip, i did type that into run and it seemed to get it going again, though seems slower than im used to

I randomly got this problem with a csgo update last weekend. The 'flushconfig' solution someone mentioned above did not work for me and apparently doesn't work for a lot of people.

You need to go into your steamapps folder, open up a file in notepad and delete a specific phrase 'something.... maps' and then save the file and restart. It will look like its redownloading the whole game but it doesn't take long as you will have maintained most of the files.

I was getting the same thing, just changed my download region to another country and it seems stable now and same download speeds more or less so will leave CoD downloading

Changing to a region that doesn't have such high traffic usually does it for me.

European downloads server are currently under very heavy load. European traffic has just broken its previous peak traffic record. Currently at 1Tbps. Going to get a lot worse when FO4 pre-load goes live at 9PM.

Change the server your downloading from,im preloading fallout 4 on steam,and was downloading at 4MB on the london server,i changed to arab emirates and its downloading at 8.8MB.

Did you not read the steam statement?. On fo4 changing servers will lock the game to that regions language!...... ðŸ˜‰ jk

No i didnt see steam statement,so i wont be able to change the language in game then ?

edit.. i deleted my download and am now downloading from london server again.

Can't get anything to actually download in the steam library.

Fall out new vegas just refuses to start downloading. Changing servers didn't help.

changing servers worked for me, wouldnt download anything this morning at all.
