I forced it on with the nvidia drivers, it had a profile for the game. I haven't had chance to play the game properly but it seemed to work fine

Hi mate,

Ive just replied to your mail - Im afraid Ive decided not to go for the 4pack after hearing its a boring game for a single player. With the backlog of Steam games I have still to play (Ive spent way over £150 in last 6months and still only played Portal) and the numerous PS3 games Im collecting I think its probably better to give it a miss, especially as by time I play it (months down the line) people would have moved onto something else...

odd as i struggled to play this game at 1440xwhatever number with all settings on lowest they go. i ended up putting a hude fan i use over summer on it to keep it cool.

i found this game fun when played with someone in the same room over lan, but even then it's only marginally fun. at first we found it extremely hard, constantly running out of ammo, having to kill one bad guy at a time from a distance etc, then once we left the first area and got a car it became very easy, we'd just do the same style of attack, killing the same bad guys over and over, sometimes one of us dying and re spawning, but that was it.

some levels were fun, but as mentioned it's so repetitive; find 5 pieces of this gun in ever new land, find 5 pieces of journal in every land, kill this strong guy, drive for ages to complete one mission, drive for ages to get reward, to find another mission where you just came from

you will miss out on a fantastic game imo, the best game i have played in ages.

A really fun game that is x100 more fun with friends! One of those really good games that gets overlooked by most people (who don't know what they are missing!). Haven't played it for a while - will pick it up again when the DLC is all on offer.
 
I played it on 360 solo, it was alright but as many have said it's a ridiculously repetitive grinding game. There's no story to speak of and every mission is pretty much the same. It also does the annoying Far Cry 2 thing of making the game last longer by making you walk/drive a lot to get to missions.

does anyone have a post level 12 save game for this? I reached level 12 on the xbox 360 and had to take it back to the rental store. I don't want to go through it all again lol. Unless someone fancies boosting me?

Took my friend 30 mins to get to level 20 when a level 61 was just killing zombies.
