I will probably get the ergonomic acesssories kit. I'm interested in a decent audio headstrap with a larger battery.
I'll have to get prescription lenses as soon as I've ordered.

I'm sort of interested in the colour passthrough as it looks significantly better than Q3, but then not sure how much I'd use it.

I ordered the Arcturus camera, mainly because it supports gaussian splats so means you could digitize objects and environments without having to upload stuff to Meta.

Not that essential, as it's much more comfortable than the default Quest 3 headstrap out of the box. They should have included the top strap and hand grips with the headset though, maybe as part of the 1tb package.

I do agree though that it could be greatly improved by the forthcoming index style audio and hot-swap battery headstrap. I imagine there are going to be a lot of different headstraps available.

That's a really low bar. And yes, it will be essential. It's a headset with no top strap, so it's just two weights each side of the head dragging the headset down. The only way to counteract that is to tighten the straps. That's going to get very uncomfortable after a very short space of time.

I'll let you know how it goes when I get one. Quest Pro was very uncomfortable without a top strap, but that was a halo style rigid strap.
