Steam Greenlight - Thread

If I may make a recommendation for voting...

Please check out Under-Rail, its in Neil79s indie database and has an alpha demo out which is superb.

Agreed under-rail is awesome, sort of torn between that and zomboid :D

Are they released games or upcoming games?

Games that will come to steam as not all indie/retro stuff ever does

Valve announces that 21 titles are slated to be made available on Steam after being approved in by their Greenlight program. Word is: "This second wave of titles was originally targeted to include at least 10 titles. Given the number and quality of games submitted, and the ship date of many of the top-ranking titles, the decision was made to increase the size of this group." Here's the list of games that will be added, which in some cases will have to wait for the completion of development:
Afterfall InSanity Extended Edition
AirBuccaneers
Blockscape
Contrast
Fly'n
Folk Tale
Forge
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams (Project Giana)
Gnomoria
Interstellar Marines
Lost Story: The Last Days of Earth
Miasmata
Miner Wars 2081
NEOTOKYO
Octodad: Dadliest Catch
Perpetuum
POSTAL 2 COMPLETE
Secrets of Grindea
The Intruder
The Stanley Parable: HD Remix
Yogventures!

Steam Greenlight Games

So what Greenlight games have you purchased?

I bought Postal 2 and Miasmata (which I am yet to play). I love the whole survival feel to games :).

100 more titles added

Combined with the news yesterday about the growth of Steam, this can only be good for indie developers. I would love to know the revenue increase that some of these developers must experience.

Anyone know of any gems amongst these new titles?

It was said that people not wanting to buy 5$ games from indi and they just pirate it that indi devs don't make money that they need to to make more games. I for one don't buy much indi games unless they good but don't pirate them ever.

"It was said"? Please provide a source.

I find this questionable, aside from in a small minority of cases perhaps.
