yeah resident evil 7 is excellent i got the gold edition a while back it was well worth it imo. think you can get the gold edition for about a tenner now from cdkeys.

We were very spoilt; it was never going to last forever.

I still think we’re immensely lucky, I’ve picked up some incredible games for embarrassingly low prices.

Compared to console gamers we’re stillliving the dream, though I think the gap will narrow further over time. I’ve got a library of like 300 games though, so I could probably never buy another and have something to play for the rest of my life.

Resident Evil 7 is a good bet. I also enjoyed the Evil Within. Outlast was a bore fest for me, but some people do seem to like it. I'd go for Alien Isolation over Outlast, its a similar concept, but a much better game IMO.

Did you try Outlast 2? It's quite different than the first one in that it's spread out over different locations with quite a bit outdoors. I thought it was great and it's the closest I've felt to actually being in and playing through a horror movie.

Yeah I've noticed boxed console games being cheaper at times than Steam sale prices (in places like Asda).

Yeah, I post in the D3 thread. Just grabbed Grim Dawn, seemed a bit daft not to at that price. Will probably grab the expansion once I've played through a little and got used to the mechanics.

Also there is a very nice bundle on the oculus store, In Death, Arktika 1 and Edge of nowhere for....... £33 i think. (I have 2 out of the 3 already which leaves Arktika 1 for £11.50 iirc.)

Kingdom Come Deliverance and it's DLC is the lowest price it's ever been I believe. Very tempted to pick it up, especially with the work they've put in to improving it.

It's one that holds some special memories for me. I seem to recall it was tricky to get to run, not sure how it would fare in that regard now.
