Tried this and actually seems very good.

Plugged the wireless Xbox controller into the TV and all works fine.

Anyone want to buy a steam link lol

I sold mine as I wasn't using it much, then a week later heard about the tv app:D

Have downloaded it but not tried it yet. My pc is in the same room with a 360 wireless controller set up! I wonder if it will work or if I will have to plug the controller dongle in to the tv like you have?

I am testing it in my 55" ks9000.
It's really cool and i hope they can improve further.

My setup is as follows :
PC and TV connected to router wired through powerline. Pc is quite a beast with 1080ti and watercooled overclocked i7 4970k 16gigs ram. So everything is maxed out.

I get 0 frame loss, 20ms latency and 4ms variance in speed test.

I use dualshock 4 without problems wirelessly. Playing zelda breath of the wild through cemu emulator on the big tv is great.

I still try to figure out the settings on the client/app. If I use FAST mode i can get very responsive 60fps on heavy games like witcher3 but there is a bit of visual degradation. Balanced mode and Beautiful mode don't work that flawlessly though currently. Balanced drops down to 30dps and beautiful stutters at 20fps :(

If any of you has tips on settings please share.

I found this on the list of Apps available to me in France. I have the normal steam link and through the TV seemed to work well.

Only an hours testing but it worked really well. I plugged the Steam Controller into on of the USB ports on the TV, and the USB Hub into the other with an XBox controller plugged into the hub. Haven't tried multiple XBox controllers yet.

Rocket League seemed to have no or little latency, compared with the normal Steam Link box. It's the one game I can't play as that little delay makes it unplayable. In other games, it's not so key.

So positive so far.

Silly question but how are you playing none steam games on steam link? I have never been able to get this to work. Occasionally It will bug out and show me my desktop and I can launch things then but never reliably.

Add the games/program as a non-steam game, and then you will see these games in big picture mode when on Steam link.

How have you got your Dual Shock 4 set up? I've paired mine in the settings of the TV as a bluetooth controller. I can navigate the interface using the D pad and square = A and X = B. R1 & R2 act as my bumpers so it is working to an extent but I can't find how to reconfigure the controller.

I've gone into the Steam settings> Controller Settings and ticked PS4 Configuration but that has not changed anything. I've tried restarting everything but no joy. I no longer have the controller configuration settings when I go to a game and try and manage the settings. Any help in this would be appreciated.

Has anybody got any recommendations for stream settings to improve performance.

I have my bandwidth set to unlimited. My PC monitor is set to 1440p so should I change my in game settings to 1080p due to the limitations of Steam Link App or should I just leave them alone?

I do notice a little latency in racing games and colour reproduction is definitely worse. I see a lot more blocks of colour, especially around sky areas in games rather than smooth transitions through the colours.

Just some general advice and tweaks really from anyone as I don't really know how each of the individual options seems to affect anything

Is this available on UK TVs now? I had it on my KS9000 but had to change the TV settings to US back in June, not got round to trying it again since.

Steam link is only 80p at the moment on Steam for anyone who doesn't have it or a 2016/17 smart TV
