Got it downloading, seems a bargain for a fiver :)

Did people find it better on pad or KB and mouse?

EDIT: Cheers to OP for the heads up

M&K controls are actually pretty good by default, but it is probably a preference thing.

I use the pad for driving and moving around an d then swich to m+Kb for the shooting bits. Nice you can do it on the fly! (No need to go to the options menu, and swich, and save bla bla bla)

I thought the general opinions of the game were: 1) Driving was the most tedious thing on the planet and you had to do it to reach missions 2) There was absolutely nothing to do other than missions 3) All combat was pretty much exactly the same 4) The story was crap and gave the impression of you working as a mercenary rather than being part of a family, it was also linear and cliche and 5) The blatantly removed from the main game DLC with the minimum amount of work possible put into it.

That sums it up for me. I quite enjoyed playing through it but I always thought it could have been better. Also the ending was rubbish. As soon as I watched it I knew it would be to line up some DLC...

Not worth it. Steam Sales are every week, sometimes there are bargains twice a week, a few times in a year you get massive sales. There's going to be more good games on sale than you'll ever be able to play. From the last 60 I bought, I've merely played six or seven titles.

Avoid wasting money.

Ok, added to my long list of 'can't currently play games' :p

Don't worry, the length of the list gives me more of an incentive to put money aside for a new spec pc.:D

I bought it for £5 a few months back and certainly had my moneys worth from it.
for a fiver, theres a lot worse games out there to choose from to play through atleast once.

I think I will buy it. I love the time period it's set. Loved a few gameplay videos I've seen. And I'm getting a new PC soon so it should be a good thing to show off.

lol Ok I just bought it.

I better have enough for Portal 2. I've gotta hope that Spurs give AC Milan a spanking tomorrow, then I should.
