Steam offline mode

1) Game downloaded 100%

2) Login name and password 'remember' check box ticked

3) Game run at least once while in Online mode

Yes I now have net (steam online) and still says 100% rdy.
2:
yes, I'm the lazy type, I'd hate to retype my passy each time, it logs me in automatically... Besides audiosurf does work so i think this is fine
3: Yes I've actively played Condition zero before leaving in online mode, and played hl2 more than once...

Very odd then, as i've never had a problem with offline mode, and they are the only requirements for it to work.

Just to test, close Steam, go to your internet connections page, disable your internet, load steam, choose offline mode, try and load a game.

It should work no problem if those conditions are met.

With any luck I won't need to use the offline mode any more, provided some neighbor around here doesn't add wep or wpa... Retuning in a few days to home with fast internet too ( atm stuck with rubbish like 2 mb or something like that) so no problems I guess...
