Bascially as the title says. I am wondering if I could use different steam apps on different computers at the same time. but they all need steam to be logged in.

The main reason is I want to have a map maker on one screen while ingame on the other to get a better idea of the game, and I could try the new map without having to quit the game

Yes but it sometimes states that you have been logged in elsewhere and you have to re-enter your password

I have steam installed on 3 computers here, as Dun said it normally just asks you for your password again on the other computer.

How would that work?

You would have to compile the map in hammer (or other 3rd party compiler) on the one PC then copy that to the other PC and then load it up!

Its far easier to just compile and load it on the same PC.
