hello all

I require some help :(

steam will not log in, it says "steam is having trouble connecting to the steam servers"

the steam server status page also times out

however, my clan mates assure me steam is up and running (as does the lack of a massive thread in here)

my firewall hasnt changed and all of the steam ports are unblocked as far as I can tell, iv'e never had a problem with my isp as regards to steam and nothings changed since yesterday when it worked fine?

help :(

Have you tried deleting " client registry blob " then restarting steam?
search for that file on your pc then delete it and restart steam.

not sorted here

can't be a firewall problem, even with it fully disabled and exited I still can't connect

client registry was 1 of the first thing I tried unfortunatly :(. this really is a tricky 1

im also having the same problems, also cant even access the sodding steam websites. Uninstalled it and now I cant even get back onto their website to redownload it. Just bought bioshock last night so I actuallly want to play it -.-

It could be an isp issue a few times it is rare but steam has not worked for me either try a router reboot?

lol my modem was working fine - hence how I could ask for help on here, and play every other game I own.

what a dumbass problem, its sorted itself now - I come back today to my pc, and steam works fine. make of that what you will...
