Steam problem

Had this problem for ages; posted on steam forums but no replies.

Anyone else had this problem and found some way to fix it? Basicaly each steam box (friends/games etc) opens up a new "blank" bar and the news section, store, community tabs are always stuck on loading and nothing ever appears.

uninstall, delete steam folder, install again.

delete the blob file in the steam folder

No luck, exactly the same problem after install. Blob file didnt do anything either.

Somehow blocked by firewall ??

Quit steam and make sure you have to type your password to sign on (don't auto sign in)

check through the options and tick automatically log in to friends when steam starts option.

Just a few ideas :confused:

Don't think it's that flatmates is working fine behind same router etc

Works fine when steam is loaded at start up, if I close it and open back up same problem until PC restart =/
