Steam Problem

I've purchased a few thing from Steam in the past and after I've paid they appeared to download straight away. I just bought some DLC for Empire Total War and nothing has appeared. I have the confirmation email so the transaction went through ok. Any ideas where I go from here?

Right click Empire in the Games window and click 'view downloadable content'
Check that everything is listed there that you've bought.

That should be it, nothing else need doing as far as I know, it should just appear within the game.

i think the DLC is loaded into the game so you should see Empire Total War updating itself? Or the DLC may already be downloaded and you simply have now unlocked it? Try firing the game up and see what happens.
