Steam problems

Bought the orange box off Steam and have some troubles downloading it. All of my HL2 downloads are on 61-70% and aren't downloading any further, and my TF2 download reset itself to 0% :confused:

anyone help?

Pause it then restart it. Probly just timed out.

TF2 is updating, pause/restart if nothing is happening.

Restarted Steam and TF2 is still at 0%. I'd have thought it would've at least have gone up a few % in almost an hours time? Downloads are also stupidly slow, between 1-20kb/s. Don't think I'm buying off this again if I ever get my downloads...

having the same problem

a grand total of 3.6kbs download on a 8mb connection sigh dont think ill buy anything off there anymore myself ive done anything under the sun to get it faster but nothing

It's because it's being hammered at the moment with all the late orange box purchases and people preloading TF2/Portal/EP2.

Just leave it going and it'll get there eventually .

tf2 is amazing.

sometimes deleting clientregistry.blob in the steam folder then restarting steam helps speed up the downloads.
