Steam Sale on

So are there any must have games in the under £10 price range?
I feel like there's nothing I particularly want this time round that isn't over £25 and I've spent so much on games this month I probably shouldn't buy any of those

There's a few PC specific things that I might pickup seen as I'm just "back" with a gaming PC; mainly some strategy type stuff like Automation, Factorio and Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic.
Need to grab a few things like BFV although I do still have Xbox Games Pass Ultimate so I might just look to extend that and take advantage of the EA Play tie in now.

I highly recommend satisfactory

Yeah you show them wait a year. LMAO. Btw Doom Eternal is one of the most well optimized smoothest games ever. If you think a 2080ti isnt enough you have issues.

Bought Serious Sam 4.

Pipe down the smartest thing is to wait and get the best deal. Maybe i play at 4k 144hz? Derp? Can a 2080ti do that on nightmare? Not quite why would i rush to play it now when i can wait a little? You seem tilted that someone has patience and you do not?

Death Stranding worth £20? How many hours do you get out of it?

Youtube before you buy death stranding. It looks very bland but also seems a longish game you need to walk a lot and build and people were saying it was a completionist game. They call it walking simulator though it ranked bottom on my wishlist of games. I may never bother i am more excited by Dragon Age 11 and Ni No Kuni 2 and the first white witch one.

I thought it was excellent and well worth that. I got almost 100 hours out of it, but you certainly don't need to spend that long to play through it.

It's obviously not to everyone's tastes though, but I honestly think most of the people who describe it as a walking simulator are just jumping on the bandwagon and haven't actually played it.

yup disappointing black friday on steam, a lot of the sales i've bought cheaper when there was not a sale on from cdkeys.
nothing purchased this time round from me and that's unusual...

I think I'm going to stand strong and wait for Death Stranding to go below £20 - I'm just not confident I'll enjoy it enough

I'm very tempted to go for Witcher 3 - I feel like I may be the last PC Gamer not to have played it yet :p

If you not bought it yet, wait until next year. The graphics suppose to be upgraded then. Sure someone that knows more about it will throw in their voice about it. Or have a look in the Witcher 3 thread.

Oh sweet! I didn't hear about this! Cheers! :D

Bought Quake IV tonight. Bit of a bugger to get running properly but it seems fine now at 1440p. Anything above that and it starts doing weird frame drops. Must be 15 years since I played this so I can't remember a thing.

Only thing I've picked up is The Hunter: Call of the Wild. Initially bought 2019 Edition, but I'm loving the game and so purchased the remaining DLC I was missing.

Prey.
Doom Eternal.
Wolfenstein youngblood. (just because I wanted to get all the games, I know it didn't rate well).

I am likely to pick up a few more as well.

Is project cars 2 worth getting (or AC?) I'm not interested in subscription stuff though.

daeth stranding is great at that price - the game takes at east 4 hours to get into though! However I loved it and it's gorgeous
