Steam Sale : What did you get?

Just Tharsis and a couple more bits of DLC for Europa Universalis IV.
Not much on my list of games to get at the moment.

Steam sales are just not what they used to be. CDkeys and CD sites or even Amazon have Steam beaten even with Steam sale prices.

I'm looking out for DLC and games you can't get via CD sites, but nothing popped up as yet.

This basically. I was going to pick up Fallout 4 and Doom from Steam, but checked cdkeys.com before buying and the games were about £1.50 cheap each, and also found a 10% off code, so got both for £23.88 total, I think it was.

Rising Storm.

I'm still thinking about these though:
Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 (£3.49)
Ys Origin (£3.89)
Slain: Back from Hell (£4.99)

And for those mentioning cd key websites, we don't all use them places for a variety of reasons. So even if it does cost a little more, I personally go through Steam or an actual reseller we can trust like GMG.

Steam sales used to be amazing. I think I picked up most of my library for under £5 a game, some under £2. Good games as well.

But the last few years it's been disappointing :(

Also a lot of the sale prices are still way higher than 3rd party key sites. E.g. Project cars on sale on Steam for £26.99, but on CJS keys it's only £11.99 lol

It's only £9.35?

Enough there to keep me busy for a good while. Next purchase likely Dishonoured 2 once it drops in price next year sometime - i'm too ***** to pay 40 quid.

The disc version was available from Amazon earlier today at £24.99 - seems to have sold out now though....

Picked up the Elder Scrolls Online Gold edition for £20. Put a few hours into it and thus far enjoying it more then I thought.

Also picked up Homeworld Desert of Kharak for £7.50.

Aside from that nothing else, like most CD key sites have the full games up for cheaper most the time anyways.

Just had a quick look but can't seem to sign into my steam account whilst at work, so will have to wait till I get home, but will be picking up Cities: Skylines & Youtubers Life for one of my sons, and probably a copy of CS:Go for myself (as still not got round to getting it)

I briefly considered buying some more Crusader Kings 2 DLC, as the sales are the only sane time to buy them! Then I remembered my current rig just doesn't have the raw number crunching muscle required to run this game after a certain point. That will have to wait until the new year. :(

In the end I bought a bunch of pointless ship skins for Elite Dangerous and the Trespasser DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition. No idea when I'll return to Thedas though.
