I know a lot of games have issues with Steam either not realising they are no longer playing a game, or flat out not closing the game, so open your task manager and see if it isn't still in your processes. If it isn't, check your Steam to see whether your are green or blue.

Well I realised that Uplay was helping itself to a nice chunk of memory without telling anyone (needed for san fran I think), so I shut that off, but it still hasn't updated itself. Completely logged out of steam, and that didn't seem to help to be honest...maybe I am doomed to be without a cool steam sig

Just a wee update from me here, it seems it recognises almost instantly when I fire up a game from being on nothing. But then when I stop playing it takes around 15-20 minutes to realise I've stopped playing. Don't know if everyone elses is like this.

I have noticed this too - it never used to be a problem. It might just be since they have moved to a different service provider? A pretty minor negative point though

Steamsigs has just gotten back up and running though, give it a few days to iron out little problems.
