Steam Storage Drive

I was wondering if it is possible to get a good external drive to use as a steam drive with all my games on so that I can just use that instead of filling up my SSD. Anyone have any recommendations or would an external drive be to slow?

Depends really I have all my steam games on my external and its only a 2.0 USB instead of 3.0 works fine for me etc. Why not get either another SSD for just games?

Will fill up to quickly if the OP is anything like me. Nearly filled up my 1TB drive and that is only with about 3/4 of my games installed.

Why do people have so many games LOL. Then again I think my 2Tb HDD is about 75% space thats used up is my games :L

I would really like a bigger drive for my games. Still a little pricey though.

Mhm anyway why go external? why not internal that would give you faster speeds etc. Bit more pricey I must admit.
