Is the Far Cry bundle worth it for £11.99 ? Started playing the original when it first came out then got distracted by something shiny elsewhere.

I would just get Far Cry 3. Far Cry 1 shows its age, and 2 wasn't as well received in reviews as 3 was.

Castle Crashers 2.49 realy good deal if you ask me

Also not played it yet but been wanting to try it for a while

Witcher 2, Don't Starve, Far Cry 3, Xcom, DMC, Hotline Miami and Mirror's Edge are all great.

So why are the deals bad? Because you already own them?

Yep, that's the only reason anyone could complain tbh. Sadly we'll probably see lots of this, most of us have bought games in all the previous steam sales so there isn't going to be much we don't have. I'm not really sure what people expect at times....

Brand new games with massive discounts! I have to say though, 15% off DayZ as a daily deal is a bit of a poor show. Ended up buying Witcher 2 and XCOM: Enemy Within, that's a fair chunk of my wishlist right away.

I have read it does not make a lot of sense unless you have because there is a lot of back story in the 2nd one that relates to people you meet in the first.
