Steam Summer sale - 19-30th June

I'm not sure how people do not manage to resist tbh. THe last game I bought was Just Cause 2 back in January for less than 1 quid. Before that, I had bought the Humble EA bundle. That was in August 2013.

Just this sale, I was tempted by Borderlands 2, Insurgency (it hasn't gone on sale yet, but I'm still not 100% sure I want it), Tomb Raider, Metal Gear Rising, Sleeping Dogs, Skyrim, Don't Starve, Payday 2, Prison Architect, Democracy, Far Cry 3 and Game Dev Tycoon. Each time I get tempted, I tell myself that even if I buy it, I will just play CS GO and Football Manager, and it is a waste of money.

I even have racked over €20 of steam credit selling CS GO items and trading cards.

You don't have to complete them. For the low, low prices it's worth it even if you play them for 1-2 hours then go back to CS:GO.

On that list, Borderlands 2, MG:R and Skyrim are the stand-out games. All excellent.

Mostly bought my games through selling trading cards, got quite a few foil cards in the community vote drops. Last light and Payday 2 DLC came free of charge. :D

strange as my steam shows green a country mile ahead when going by that list Sunday should be Pink, so obviously it is about as accurate as the community choice results :p

NM just read it saying Green today, pfft.

Just been watching the Green and Pink team challenging for the lead and the count goes down every so often by a few hundred !

How can it go down ?!

I thought there was some skullduggery going on but having read someone's post in this thread, you can be awarded -100 point tokens when you craft the badge.

I think I'll wait until Kingdoms of Amalur comes with the dlc for that price, - I want to play it, but I'm really in no hurry for it. I'm also tempted by Last Light, though again, I can wait for to drop down in price.

Someone bought me the Betrayer a few months ago, which is a pretty decent game.

That OCD though. They need to be completed including all achievements.

I have over 200 games. I recently started completing the indie games, starting from those with easy achievements. Wasted a bit of time tbh.

I need 1 achievement for 'The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom' to complete the set, and its annoying me! I can't get it! I tried AGES ag for quite some time (1 week only trying that achievement) and I never did it. WOuld seriously consider lending my account to someone who can get it for me.

Oh dear :p Yeah I used to have a thing about completing games, but these days there's so many, it just isn't realistic any more to finish them all. Esp games like Skyrim, which have hundreds of hours of gameplay.

If you have to get all the achievements then yeah, you're screwed :p

So far I've succumbed to Pool Nation at £1.39 and Skyrim Legend Edition for £6.79. Will be happy with that, I think, unless anything 'must have' pops up :p

There are definitely some games I'm leaving for console that I might have been tempted by on PC a couple of years ago - just a bit of a faff with setting up controllers, etc. Maybe getting lazy in my old age...

Ooh, just noticed Transformers in the flash sale. Anyone recommend War for Cybertron / Fall of Cybertron (+ DLC) or one over the other particularly?

I was hoping outlast went on sale, nearly paid £15 for that a couple of weeks ago until I realised the sale was coming. £3.74, bargain.

Anyone else played it?

The trouble with Borderlands 2 is the stupid save-game checkpoints. I can only play games for a short time and so I found myself repeating sections constantly. Grrr! Otherwise, good game.

You sound like me, I'm trying to tidy up my steam account now as I've let it go, 14% overall completion for achievements, make's me sad to look at. Good job my Xbox 360 is 75%+, otherwise I'd be .

Add me on steam, I'm sure we can help each other with achievements! - Same as my username.
