Steam Summer Sale 2011

Anyone else think the sale will start today?

I am going to say it will.

I have no facts to back this up, just going on the fact it started on 25th June last year, which was a Friday.

Today is the 24th and a Friday so that is good enough for me

They do have a weekend deal though, which does make me think otherwise as who would agree to a weekend deal knowing there is a Summer sale at the same time?

We shall see

If the sale does not start today (30/06/2011) Valve Time, I will take a photo of my naked butt with a loaf of Hovis and some baked beans.

I suspect if it's inline with last year it's very soon. Why did they have to wait until after I got paid.

I'm sure the Steam forums will be as they usually are around sales, everyone bitching about poor sale prices because games that have barely been out a few months aren't at 80% off.
