Summer game packs were added to the Steam database the other day, so the likelihood of a summer sale is very high.

I think Valve games being cheap during a steam summer sale is pretty much a given.

IF there is a sale this year (no reason to think there wont) I expect it to kick in before the 4th of July and perhaps on that day at the very latest. Every summer sale in the past has run over that American holiday date.
