Steam Summer Sale

Noticed they bumped a lot of the game price up. So when they discount it makes sound like they giving huge discounts but not as much as they have done in normal sales.

Marketing technique to increase sales for summer sale.

I've seen steam do this before, just means I much more careful when buying.

Made £2.26 selling most of my cards, still have a few games that havent dropped all of em (sleeping dogs/walking dead/hotline miami/torchlight 2/saints row 3/ alan wake/psychonauts) doubt ill be playing them again tohugh so will just leave them on tab :D

Is it worth it selling cards? My mate mentioned it and when I asked about how to do it etc he clammed up. Probably think I'd be stealing future business of him

Just go into your steam gift/inverntory, pick the cards, select sell, look at the price graph and base your price on that, then just wait :)

Bought Terraria, but only because I was on Steam to buy Shadowrun Returns and Terraria was so cheap, doubt I will dip back to buy more. Prices are still quite high by previous standards.

Gotta +1 this. I've seen some games with -75% that aren't actually -75% from what they were.

Will have to watch for that myself, hadn't noticed. I guess Tesco bought Steam? :D

I have seen sometimes the bundles are more expensive than buying individually.

Decided to start playing through my steam sale games from previous years. 3 chapters into Alan Wake. Good game. Whilst playing through that though I seem to have purchased 4 steam sale games. It's like a goal I know I'll never get to..

High load :(

LOL Skyrim is at an amazing 25% off, they have duffed up...twice.

Edit: Nah its just the front page really, the 40% is still off and Dragonborn is 30% off, the other two are 50% :)
