Steam Summer Sale

This has to be the lamest steam sale ever almost as bad as origins efforts a while back, has the last year been that bad for game releases???
So far all ive got is left for dead 2 so i can smash it with mates and the walking dead pack for something different.

Looked at both, not interested in either of them.

I am considering Sim City 4 though, just not sure how much I'd actually play it.
 
Well looking at the above few posts about Infestation I'm still unsure if it is actually any good or not, but for the sake of a few quid I've just bought it cos it contains zombies :p

I would highly recommend playing Dark Souls with a controller, that's how it was designed to be played. A keyboard and mouse simply wouldn't be good enough, and it's difficult enough at the start without you having to battle the control method as well.
 
Any of the Resident Evil games worth a try? Keeping in mind I haven't played on of them since Code Veronica on the PS2 :P

I quite enjoyed Resi 5, though it had started to move away from the horror and more towards action. I have ignored Resi 6 as I played the demo and felt it had completely lost it's way, it was far too actiony for my liking. Resi 4 is still my favourite in the series

If you want survival horror, and you haven't played them yet, give Dead Space 1 and 2 a try, they're exceptional, especially the first one.
