So far i've got FTL, Arkham Asylum and Bully for £2, as i've made the money back on the cards, and I've still got 7 games to get card drops from! (and more games will be updated

The batman arkham series are the best games I have played in the last 5-7 years! 
Absolutely superb, excellent gameplay all round (and it isn't too repetitive like a lot of games these days, loads of side missions, challenges etc.), the best combat fighting system there is, stealth sections, cool gadgets, open world (more so AC), amazing voice acting, good graphics, great characters along with an incredibly good script and story line/plot (imho, I would say as good as the Nolan's batman films for story/plot)
The games in my eyes are still worth £30 each!

You have to download and replace a dll file on certain operating systems. I think its a sticky on the steam forums.

Am I missing something? How do you make money from those trading cards? I dont see any option for putting them up for sale.
Also how do you apply for a booster pack? It says I'm eligible to get one for a few games I have since I've had all the card drops, but I dont see how to get it.

How much do you need to play to get the cards?
every 30mins to an hour I think you get a drop
but doesn't matter if game is idle or not it seems - bizarely
Seems like it pretty much. I think increasing your Steam level gives you a few minor perks like increased profile options and a larger friend list limit, but other than that, it seems to be fairly pointless.
I dont mind collecting them for fun, but I'm not putting any money into it
How can I get a booster pack?
Once you have received all of your card drops, you become eligible for a booster pack, which is a set of 3 trading cards that may include both basic and foil cards. Booster packs are granted randomly to eligible users as more badges are crafted by members of the community. Make sure you log in to Steam each week to maintain eligibility.
Once eligible, your Steam Level increases your rate of receiving a booster pack drop:
Level 10: +20% increase in your drop rate
Level 20: +40% increase in your drop rate
Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate
Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate
Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate (i.e. the rate has doubled)
Etc.
I got 2 drops after 10 mins of play of The Binding of Issac, i think its random.
What do I get when I craft a badge from my Trading Cards?
In addition to getting the Game Badge itself, you'll get:
a random emoticon item created for this game, that can use in chat or discussions;
a random profile background item created for this game, that can use on your Steam Community profile
a chance to get a discount coupon for a different game or DLC
100XP, which may increase your Steam Level
If your Steam Level increases, the limit on the size of your friends list will be increased by five, and potentially you'll unlock the ability to customize your profile with showcases.
