Steam Weekend Deal: Frontlines™: Fuel of War™ £3.74

i prefer steam as no need for cd's etc always have etc. like halflife and halflife 2 have had for years and would have defo lost keys by now
 
ive got fuel of war and have had it for some time but just got this on steam as i want to get rid of all my disc's and just have steam.

For me

1) auto patches/updates (Really Hate having to check for game patches/updates all the time ,plus all the time that i waste having to download & install them )

2) far easyer after formating windows,As all you have to do is click on steam and all your games are installed ;)

3) no need to have the game DVD-rom in the drive..

4) all your games are in one nice list

why digital is crap:

1) if your internet is down > no game downloads!

2) retail packaging looks better

3) easier to sell

4) its daft saying you need to put cd keys in with retail copies, by the time it installs and you enter this, your likely waiting for the downloaded one!

5) you can buy 2nd hand retail games cheap

i will never use steam, and i hope to god games will not go digital over retail
