Is Steam's site down?

Have been trying to get on it but nothing will load on any browser.

Xmas traffic?

Haven't downloaded it yet. That was why I was trying to access the site but downloading now from another source.

As said in a different thread somewhere, they might be doing a few changes due to Christmas perhaps? Not sure really.

Only thing you can do is wait sadly

Mine was doing the same earlier. Tried it just now and it's downloading an update. Seems pretty big, it's taking a while.

the client update is normal sized.. dont know whats going on with the site - its a good update though, adds web browsing to the overlay

Somethings gone **** up at their end, I logged in.. it updated its 'Platform' and now it won't let me into Rockstars Social club... which I need to be in to play GTA IV

yeah when i saw the site down i got hyped up for some good deals like last year. there is still hope though

yeah i know - its just an update to the beta it seems. fixed some windows services restarting something or other
