Hi Guys

We now carry the full SteelSeries Gaming Range at OcUK

SteelSeries have advanced a huge amount over the past 5 years and increased the quality of their peripherals enormously.

They have some really exciting products in the market right now and with the whole range being here I thought I would take some time to produce a guide on what does what in the SteelSeries range.

RIVAL : GAMING MICE
SteelSeries Gaming Mice feature a host of precise sensors which offer fantastic performance in games as well as desktop use. The build quality of SteelSeries mice has been fine tuned over the years and with the introduction of the Rival range, they are at the top of the game. All Rival Mice are fully controllable using the SteelSeries Engine 3 Software.

Rival 100

The Rival 100 is an entry level mouse with a huge spec list. This is one of the best equipped gaming mice in its price category.

Rival 300

The Rival 300 is heavily used by pro players in esports for good reason, the combination of build quality and pro level performance comes in at an affordable price point for market leading performance that you can rely on. This is one of the most used mice by OcUK staff too if that counts for anything.

Rival 700

The Rival 700 is the top specification mouse from SteelSeries, based on the shape of the Rival 300 but with a host of premium features like OLED display, swappable sensor units and haptic feedback. The Rival 700 is one of the most customisable mice at Overclockers UK.


SIBERIA : GAMING HEADSETS
SteelSeries Siberia is perhaps one of the most recognised gaming headsets on the planet. With the majority of the range using suspension systems to hold the headset on your head firmly but allowing for a huge amount of comfort, the Siberia range has a headset at pretty much every price point and colour you could want.

Siberia 100

The Siberia 100 offers a lightweight over ear design and microphone integrated into the earcup for a discreet headset that can be used anywhere.

Apex 300

Possible to do a bundle deal again? IIRC when I got mine you guys sold the bundle out within a few hours.

I.e M800 + Rival 300
 
sadly no. the rivals we had were at a promo price meaning we could knock some off but not give it away.

who knows, a little further down the line we may be able to produce another bundle
 
SteelSeries has really impressed me with their stuff. Currently have the M800, Rival 300 and Siberia 800 and couldn't be happier. My only issue is the M800 is a bit big personally for my desk, but that's a personal issue as it is a cracking keyboard!
 


I've just contacted Steelseries to see if i can RMA my original Rival since the rubber grip is almost worn through.

I bought it last January from OCUK, do people think that is a valid reason to return?.
 
I bought a Steelseries WoW Mouse a few years ago and within a couple of hours it had worn through the top surface all the printed surface had worn off onto my hand it was crap.

Steelseries where an absolute nightmare to deal with accusing me of spilling paint stripper and nail varnish remover etc and all sorts on it.

I wouldn't touch any of there products again unless they have managed to completely change they way they make stuff and the way they deal with problems.

known issue with the original rivals new ones have better material on it. You should have no problem getting it sorted
 
RMA is approved, i have to send the mouse back then i will get a coupon to buy from the steelseries website.

Bit of a pain having to send it back, i think logitech are the best customer service wise.
 
Quick update, Rival arrived in Denmark in two days and was given a $70 code to use for any item on the Steelseries website, just ordered the rival 300 in Gunmetal Grey, great service!.
 
I went from the G400/MX518 to the Rival and i got used to it right away, don't know if you have tried any of them... it feels perfect to me.








The Gunmetal version looks awesome also.

I've got an original rival and you was given two of those little things. Pretty sure the other one said steelseries. Means you could probably get one to say anything. Lovely mouse.


Although as someone a few posts up showed my rubber is starting to wear away too, doubt mine is in warranty though.

Might be worth contacting them anyway since it's a known issue, they might help you out.
