I share this sentiment, just gone from a Deathadder to the Rival and it's absolutely perfect. The longer shape means the bottom of my palm is no longer dragging on the mouse mat, and I can actually change the led colour rather than have the disgusting green flashing at me.

The Deathadder is still a great mouse, but I am now converted back to Steelseries after switching from a Xai a few years ago.
 
Have got a sensai MLG at work and its a cracking mouse, its just to light for me, i like a heavy mouse.
