Steelseries Rival

they didnt know when i last asked.. i went ebay instead and had some problems with mine being lost in transit... they sent me a placement and then my first one turned up.. if the 2nd one shows up ill sell u that bud so will keep u posted..

also i frigging love my rival.. so much better shape and love the whole feel of it compared to 2013...

had to drop DPI to 450 tho as it just feels way to fast for me.. but with QcK+ its amazingly smooth!

My Steelseries Rival arrived today and what I've immediately noticed is that the left and right mouse button actually scrape against each other when both pushed, making aiming and shooting a little more tricky than it needs to be at times. I'm tempted to get my girlfriend's file out and file the LMB down a little 'cause I'd really like to avoid the whole RMA process if possible.

Has anyone else experienced this? What do you guys suggest?

Edit: I just want to add that the ergonomics on this mouse are gorgeous - it's the firs thing I noticed when taking it out of the box - and the no mouse acceleration is phenomenal for FPS. The sense of control it gives you is second to none.

Edit: I've just noticed that holding down either mouse button and using the scroll wheel will cause the wheel to scrape against the button as well. It doesn't hinder any movement, it's just friction where there shouldn't be.

did you keep the mouse or RMA it? looking for a new mouse, but not sure about the coating on Rival, looks like it will wear off.. and yours has buttons that rub!

Holy thread revival.

Have a look at the reviews of the mouse in the ocuk review section of the forums for more info
