Just ordered these.
1 thing that put me off is the separated microphone. anyone got this headset and can say how good or bad the microphone is?
mainly for online games voice chats and such.

The microphone is great quality; I intend to continue to use it when I get around to buying a decent set of headphones in future.

Just got it, i am not home so can't test it out yet... although it looks impressive.

should I use the screen hanger for stationary placement of the mic? or just put it always on the shirt somewhere up?

I personally think the red looks tacky, but hey, so do my white ones
I have the microphone stuck to one of my speakers with blutack since the clip broke long ago, but if you're able to I'd recommend doing something similar since it doesn't get in the way of anything. It does take a fair bit more configuring if you use TS/Vent, but it's worth it in the end.
