Ok guys, I'm at the National tyres garage in Ealing. All done, no problems, nothing bent or damaged, £15. Just cancelled my appointment tomorrow for that tracking. You chaps have saved me money! Only other thing he said was that my front right tyre was illegal, so he put on a new budget tyre, £63.

Well, yeah, they did front wheel alignment although tbh, I think it's still very fractionally off to the left, but a lot better than it was. Also, it seems to drift left now if I let go of the wheel. But I might be imagining that as it kept straight on another straighter road and then slightly veered right so it's probably as it should be. I'll have to test it properly later on a very straight road.

Don't forget road cambers to the left so a slight drift is normal.

in fact, i got my e36 done (front and rear toe and front camber) for £109incl

Holy mother of god....

I pay between £40 and £60 for a full geo setup on mine, depending on who generous the proprietor is feeling!

Well my MOT advisory notes last month said "Offside front tyre worn close to legal limit." So it must have been.

If your tyre is different to the other one you will be back at square 1 in a couple of months. You really cant beat a full 4 wheel alignment on laser machines. There is still a problem if youre pulling to the left noticeably.

As much as budget tyres are not reccomemded and neither are mixed brands on the sane axle it will have very little real world impact on alignment
