Steering wheel refurbs?

http://royalsteeringwheels.com/

They don't have a set price because of the amount of options available, you'll need to fill in the form for your requirements.

Loads of pictures of all the different types of wheels they've done, highly recommended.

I bought my 2003 M3 in January and the wheel had just been refurbished by them before I picked it up, lovely attention to detail of the stitching etc.

Whats going on at the top of the right hand spoke? Looks like the refurb hasn't covered it all.

Another +1 for Royal Steering Wheels, they did the wheel in my old E46 with stitched sides and M stitching, it looked fantastic. Think it was about £150.

That's just the design of the steering wheel, hard to explain but they all look like that.

Thanks guys, they look brilliant, Voxination that is exactly the type of thing I am after, perforated sides, thicker than standard and just red stitching will do me.

If it's £150 exchange I am happy with that :)

There was a member on Cliosport who did retrims, I can't remember his username though.

They looked better (to me) than the clio wheels that people had Royal retrim.

I'll have a search on there in a bit and see if I can find his username

Snappy is his username.

Examples of his work in this thread fairly sure you need an account to view, which is always annoying.

Looking at this picture really brings it home how badly BMW have screwed the interior of the current 3 Series. The E46 interior is fantastic. It's like a small 5 Series in there.

Looks pretty much the same to me, just less dated.

Royal Steering Wheels

Had all my E46s done by them over the years.

This is now, after 25k miles:

If he is then that is epic as that's also where I am, he could probably remove, sort it and re-fit for me :)

mrk that looks quality after those miles! I'm just awaiting a reply to my email to the guys @ Royal.

Just use a damp cloth to wipe it every now and then, and a magic eraser if it looks like it is collecting dust/dirt. Magic pad will restore the matte finish, but use it very gently, as it is an abrasive pad, like very fine sand paper.

Most people don't clean their wheel, or if they do, use leather cleaner. This will only make the wheel look shiner quicker.
