I don't understand the question.

Half a pint of stella and half a pint of lemonade will make a 2.5% drink.

Once you've finished the can, you've drunk the whole can and have therefore drunk the whole 2.5 units.

Half a pint of stella is 5% and diluted with a measure of lemonade that's the same volume it wil be 2.5%.

For every can you drink you consume 2.5 units, that's really all you need to go on. 1 can with a gallon of lemonade is still 2.5 units.

Shandy is quite refreshing, although it's a bit too sweet. If it's nice and sunny I'd prefer an American Lite beer rather than a British shandy.

Yeah but if you drink say 3 cans then you are over the limit to drive. If you drink 3 cans (6 pints) of shandy then is it safe to drive? Even though you feel 100% sober.

You've still drunk the same amount of units, so you will still be over the limit. Don't drive.

What the **** are you talking about? Are you retarded?

You've drunk the whole can, regardless of what you mixed it with. If you drink three cans of stella you've had three cans of stella.

If you mix it 50/50 with something else then the ABV is halved to 2.5% but you've still drunk it all.
