RIP.....sad news.

[Flibster]

This news is not brilliant.

[HoneyBadger]

I remember her in Waiting for God. RIP.

RIP, great actor

She'll always by Mrs Featherstone to me.

It's funny that in the original Open All Hours, she played a character that I assumed was about twice Granville's age. Then in Still Open All Hours (which I've only seen about 10 minutes of, and couldn't face any more) she's (sort of) his love interest.

And then you check their ages in reality - and she was 2 years younger then David Jason.

Or as Arkwright called her, the Black Widow. Its mostly Tenko and Waiting for God I remember. She always seemed to be playing characters much older than she was.

I remember her in Waiting for God. RIP.

This was my first thought too.

Loved her in that, probably a touch odd given my age at the time it aired but she was fantastic in it.

Tenko, used to occasionally see that as a kid if my parents were watching it. What an amazing and brutal series.
