My main question is ive built up a rig which the heart is a intel E6600 on a gigabyte board in a Thermaltake Tsunami case.
The chip ive read needs thermal paste to help and something better than the retail heat sink
from the posts ive read im thinking maybe a novice should go for the artic freezer as it sounds as easy as the heat sink to attach rather than the ninja which sounds like it can be some work!
So cooler to order?
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) (HS-017-AR)
Then we have:
This to order?
Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound (3.5g) (AC-000-AC)
and this one sounds REALLY scary so probably will pass for fear of gluing somet i shouldnt!!!
Arctic Silver Thermal Epoxy (7g) (OA-001-AC)
Is there anything else that is needed? Just trying to get my head around the overclocking tutorial now!! lol
